Review: 3Chi Delta 8 Drink Enhancers and Additives

Delta 8 THC drink enhancer

Delta 8 drink enhancer and drink additive packets can add 3Chi’s Delta 8 THC as a mix to any of your favorite drinks. They come in a small packet that’s easy to take along with you to restaurants and bars.

The Delta 8 drink additive packets work with hot or cold drinks and provide 10 MG of flavorless Delta 8 mix. This is perfect for drinks like coffee, tea, or juices.

The drink enhancers contain 25 MG of flavored Delta 8 mix and come in either Tangerine Lime or Pink Lemonade flavors when you just want to add some flavor to water.

If you’re wondering how the drink enhancers and additives will make you feel, Delta 8 THC offers many of the same effects as Delta 9, but in moderation.

The D8 absorption is likely faster in a drink form than other product types you may have tried in the past. It’s not recommended to use Delta 8 drink enhancers or additives with alcoholic beverages.

When I tried one packet of the unflavored Delta 8 drink additive with some iced tea, I felt a similar euphoric feeling and calming sensation to Delta 9 THC. It wasn’t overwhelming like a Delta 9 gummy can sometimes be for me. Instead, I felt clearer and more energetic.

I still have to try the flavored drink enhancers, which should certainly have a stronger impact since they have 2.5x the Delta 8.

Either way, the 3Chi Delta 8 drink mixes make for a nice, low-key drink and a good alternative to alcohol when friends are drinking.

What is Delta-8?

Delta-8 THC, also known as Delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol or ∆⁸-THC, is a psychoactive cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant.

It is an isomer of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, the compound typically known as THC.

That’s the scientific stuff, but to break it down for you, Delta-8 is one of more than 100 chemical compounds found in the cannabis sativa plant.

When you think of weed, that’s delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol, which is the main psychoactive compound in cannabis, and that’s what gives the euphoric high.

But Delta-8 THC also has psychoactive and intoxicating effects similar to Delta-9 THC. It delivers a head high and like anything it should be taken in moderation.

If you decide to try Delta-8, start with small amounts to see how you feel. After an hour if you don’t feel a lot you can always take more. Addition is much easier than subtraction.

The two of us have gotten Delta-* at a variety of places, and our favorite spot is 3Chi.com for price and quality.

Is Delta-8 Legal?

Delta-8 THC is considered legal at the federal level because it is derived from the hemp plant, instead of marijuana.

You can purchase Delta-8 at a variety of places, including state-licensed cannabis stores, online, head shops, and gas stations.

We’d suggest going with respected online retailers, such as 3Chi, Pure Craft CBD, and Diamond CBD, because they will usually have a lab test tab on their site where you can view lab reports on their Delta-8 products.
